Conestoga Auctions Jan. 30, 2016. Lot: 460. Estimate: $1,000 – $1,500. Sold: $1,652. Description: Early 19th Century Berks County Paint Decorated Oval Bentwood Band Box. Salmon ground with blue and white tulip, floral and foliate decoration. For a nearly identical example see book "House of Derr" 2nd edition, lists an example of this box as Salome Derr's lancet box. 2-3/4"h. x 6-1/2"w. x 3-7/8"d. Condition: Very good with minor wear and losses.
